Very interesting concept, and twist on the genre!

I've played a few of these "world-building" types of games, and it's neat to have one like this; the world is set to end soon, and in that time, you gain points by delaying it (fighting the fires of Vesuvius)

The art style is very nice to look at, and once I got a hang of the game, it was pretty clear what each type of tile was.

I'm glad I found this, thanks so much for making it! Congrats on doing so well in the game jam!

Glad you you found and enjoyed the game! Thanks for showcasing it 😁 It was really fun to watch

Well developed but I don't think a deck-based city builder works

Understand what you mean. This aspect of the game is definitely experimental. I would've loved to add deck building mechanics and meta progression to further test it out though.

Meta progression would be a must, and more ways to get cards I think too, maybe a building that generates cards? The gameplay loop of placing 2 buildings every morning is very predictable. You seriously did a fantastic job though, the art and polish is really great. I played twice through just enjoying the presentation.

A bit laggy on my old pc but very fun! Would like a more hands on tutorial though
