My only minor "nitpick" is the resource display on the top left is in a different order than the cost requirements for buildings. Other than that little OCD thing had a good time playing!
Love the graphics! Definitely gets a bit tedious
Glad you liked the visuals 😊
I totally get that - the game still needs more content and better balance, which I’m planning to tackle in a post-jam update. If you have any ideas I'd love to hear them!
How do the drones work?
Drones unlock once you build a depot, Robotics Bay and a Star Lift. When unlocked they show up at the top of the construction menu. They automatically pick up nearby resources and deliver them to the nearest Star Lift for you 🙂
Thanks but i just had to scroll up lol.
I really enjoyed getting the headquarters. The graphics are great, and the number of things on screen without a hitch really impressed me.
Thanks a lot! Really glad you enjoyed reaching the headquarters - that was meant to feel like a satisfying milestone 😁
The balance curve still needs some tuning (and upgrades!), so it’s awesome to hear the pacing still felt good to you.
Also noticed the background looks a bit darker and glitched in your screenshot - there’s a small shader issue I need to fix, so thanks for catching that!
Hey, I really loved this game its a great concept. Would it be possible to get an html build of this game? I would love to host it through coolify so I can play it at school. Thanks!
I love this! A really cool Cookie Clicker like! Really well polished. A bit of work and I'd play it as an idle game regularly. So the rest of the Feedback comes from a place of admiration, I don't think I played any other Jam game this long. What I would wish for Gameplay wise is to Upgrade your Buildings and drones, so that you could truly go infinite. I think it would actually make the optimization easier, for example you could add a merge drones option, that merges 2 drones and then they have the carrying capacity of 4. Than you could still have a hard limit on the amount of objects, while making the infinite dream more achievable. The same idea could be used for the Buildings and resources. Polish wise this is near perfect, the only minor adjustments I would wish for are that there is more variation in collection sounds (The sound is great, but you hear it thousands of times), and the background is sometimes a bit buggy and doesn't tile correctly.
Wow, thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to play and write such thoughtful feedback, it's really motivating 🤩
I love your ideas for upgrades, merging drones and extending the infinite play loop - those are exactly the kind of improvements I'd like to explore next. I'll definitely take a look at the sound variation and background issues you mentioned.
Simple and easy!
great job got to 26 drones :), never lagged once, even with crap tons of items on screen, Really good job there! loved the colors, easy to understand, had a great time.
Blud gotta add a save bank
Hmm, yeah that makes sense haha. Wouldn't want to throw away all the precious planetary output.
Weirdly satisfying!
Very strong visual. I get high from this water, I get high from picking up objects with the cursor and how it feels.
It is not very convenient to always open the menu with buildings, considering that you are constantly building them. Overall, it's a very enjoyable jam game, good job!
Thanks! I agree. I thought about adding a setting for that but let me know if you have anything else in mind! :)
This was a lot of fun. Watching the drones do the work, while I work on something else :)
Headquater in the middle of the island.
Thanks for this
Glad you enjoyed the game! Did the drone automation feel balanced, or would you have liked them to move faster or be more efficient? I'd love to expand on that with upgrades, too.
Fantastic! Extremely impressive as a jam project, I'd love to see an expanded release!
Thanks Eliot! I'm thinking about adding upgrades, more buildings, units, and a method of expanding the map, as well adjusting the balance more towards automation.
Do you have any ideas for features or systems you'd like to see in a full version? 🤩
Being able to upgrade existing buildings/drones would be number 1 on my list, with clicking efficiency upgrades as number 2.
Otherwise, pie in the sky/scope creep idea, have a secondary game screen that's a planet map. Instead of building an HQ to end the level, you are building a launch pad to get to the next planet. With each planet completed continuing to contribute resources for unlocking new passive upgrades.
Love picking up items with the mouse. Every part of it is so well-tuned!
Very nice and cozy game, also cool tactility and just an overall mood.
Addictive.
Great game! I love the colors!
